Orian Film Festival – Submission Guidelines

Location: Rajpura, Punjab

We are excited to invite filmmakers, screenwriters, and creators to submit their work for Orian Film Festival. To ensure a smooth and fair submission process, please carefully review the following guidelines:

1. Submission Categories:

• Short Films: Maximum duration of 20 minutes.

2. Submission Fee:

• The joining fee is ₹499 per submission (applicable for short films, screenplays, and trailers).
• Payment must be completed before submission is processed.

3. Submission Deadline:

• All submissions must be received by APRIL 10, 2025.
• Late submissions will not be considered.

4. How to Submit:

• Visit the official Orian Film Festival submission page on our website to upload your work.
• For Short Films, upload your film in MP4 or MOV format.
• All works must be in English or have English subtitles if in another language.

5. Original Work:

• Submissions must be original works created by the submitting filmmaker or writer.
• You must hold the rights to the content being submitted.

6. Content Restrictions:

• Films, screenplays, and trailers should avoid offensive content such as hate speech, explicit violence, and explicit adult material.
• Submissions must comply with general community standards and respect diversity, equality, and non-discrimination.

7. Selection Criteria:

• Submissions will be judged based on creativity, originality, storytelling, technical quality, and overall impact.
• Our panel of judges will review all entries, and selected works will be featured at the event.

8. Notification of Selection:

• Filmmakers and writers whose works are selected for the festival will be notified by APRIL 20, 2025.
• If your work is selected, you will receive instructions for attending the festival and presenting your work.

9. Award Categories :

• Best Short Film

10. Festival Participation:

• Selected works will be featured during Orian Film Festival in Rajpura, Punjab.
• Filmmakers, screenwriters, and creators and anyone will be invited to attend the event.
• Travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the participants, unless otherwise specified.

11. Rights and Permissions:

• By submitting your work, you grant Picnic TV the right to screen, share, and promote your work on our platforms (including social media, websites, and during the festival event).
• All intellectual property rights remain with the creator.
